Praying to the Angels

PRAY TO THE ANGELS

“When I write this, we are approaching Christmas, so it feels right to speak about angels now.

The angels are always with us, but I think that they are closer around us at Christmas because it is natural that more people think about them now.

If you pray to the angels, they are free to step in and help out.

Unfortunately, there are now many ‘unemployed angels’ as many have forgotten that you can actually ask them for help.

Starting tonight, you can pray for yourself, relatives, or for someone you do not know.

Pray for Mother Earth, our universe, and everything else that vibrates with energy….

Good luck, and may your positive desires be realized!”

PRAYER TO ANGELS: A UNIVERSAL PRACTICE

Prayer to angels is a practice found in various religious and spiritual traditions.

Angels are often considered divine or celestial beings that act as intermediaries between humans and the divine.

Different religions have different beliefs and practices regarding angels and how to communicate with them through prayer.

Here are a few examples from different religious traditions:

CHRISTIANITY:

In Christianity, angels are seen as messengers of God and are mentioned throughout the Bible.

People may pray to angels for protection, guidance, and assistance.

The Catholic Church, in particular, has a tradition of invoking the intercession of specific angels, such as Archangel Michael, Raphael, and Gabriel.

ISLAM:

Islam acknowledges the existence of angels as created beings by Allah.

Angels play a significant role in Islamic theology and are involved in various aspects of the universe.

Muslims may invoke the names of angels, such as Jibreel (Gabriel) or Mika’il (Michael), in prayers seeking guidance and protection.

JUDAISM:

Angels are mentioned in various Jewish texts, including the Hebrew Bible.

In Judaism, angels are considered messengers and servants of God.

Some Jewish prayers include references to angels, and there are traditions of invoking angelic assistance for specific needs.

NEW AGE AND SPIRITUALITY:

In New Age and spiritual practices, some individuals may engage in angelic prayers as a form of connecting with higher spiritual realms.

This can involve invoking the presence of angels for guidance, healing, and protection.

DON’T FORGET TO GET CREATIVE IN YOUR PRAYERS

“All around, people are praying, but to different entities and for different reasons.

I believe if you pray, don’t forget to give thanks afterward, a signal that you appreciate the work and efforts.

Don’t always pray when you want something.

Create a relationship with the celestial beings and contact them often just to say that you feel love and express gratitude for the good things in life.

Or, if you don’t feel good, just ask them to show you how to do good deeds and be a better version of yourself.

If you feel alone, have problems sleeping, or have worries, ask the Angel of Peace to wrap their wings around you and give you peace inside.

Believe me, it won’t take long until you feel safe and fall asleep like an angel :-), and who knows, you might even spot a white feather in the air before you start to dream sweet.

Sometimes when you pray, the result comes fast; other times, it might take a while. Remember that celestial beings see the grand perspective and might know better when the time is right to provide the wanted result (what you have been praying about). Don’t forget to get creative in your prayers.”

THE MIRACLE OF THE SUN AT FATIMA

One of the most famous reported miracles in modern times is associated with the events at Fatima, Portugal, in 1917.

According to the accounts of three shepherd children—Lucia dos Santos and her cousins Jacinta and Francisco Marto—the Virgin Mary appeared to them on multiple occasions.

The culmination of these apparitions occurred on October 13, 1917.

During the final apparition, thousands of people had gathered at the site, anticipating a miracle that the children had predicted.

As the crowd looked up at the sky, witnesses reported seeing the sun change colors, spin, and appear to “Dance” in the sky.

This event, known as the Miracle of the Sun, is considered by many believers to be a supernatural occurrence and a confirmation of the children’s visions.

The reported phenomenon was witnessed by people from different backgrounds, including skeptics and journalists who were initially critical of the children’s claims.

While there are various interpretations and debates about the nature of the event, it is often cited as a powerful and mysterious occurrence associated with prayer and divine intervention.

BUDDHIST MIRACLE: LOVING-KINDNESS MEDITATION

In Buddhism, particularly in Theravada tradition, there are stories that highlight the transformative power of meditation, including practices focused on loving-kindness (Metta).

One well-known story involves the Burmese monk U Sīlaṇanda.

U Sīlaṇanda was known for his deep commitment to meditation, especially the practice of loving-kindness. One day, while he was meditating in a forest, a group of hunters mistook him for a deer and shot him with an arrow.

Despite being wounded, U Sīlaṇanda continued to meditate and radiate loving-kindness toward his attackers.

The hunters, realizing their mistake, were overcome with remorse and sought the monk’s forgiveness.

U Sīlaṇanda not only forgave them but also continued to radiate compassion and loving-kindness.

Miraculously, the wounds began to heal rapidly, leaving the hunters astounded by the monk’s spiritual power and the transformative effects of his meditation practice.
